Swooping through antique shops, estate sales and auctions for jewelry and home decor. Tucked into my nest are many decorative treasures for your home and body.

I grew up in a typical middle class neighborhood in the San Francisco Bay Area. We had a "sunshine yellow" house with a little white fence. Dad enjoyed home and furniture renovation. Mom sewed and actively participated in school fundraisers by creating fun handmade gifts from recycled items.

As a teenager, many items felt so "ordinary" to me. I was drawn to import stores, head shops and thrift stores over department stores. I loved diversity. So colors and patterns "out of the ordinary" were were comfortable for me. If there was still a pull for something different, I would manipulate my own clothing and beaded jewelry.

I wanted to go to a design school, but college was not in the cards for me. So, I took workshops, seminars and variety of semester classes equal to years of Studio Art with Marketing and Advertising. All while climbing the corporate ladder of a large insurance company and raising two small children.

A career change finally had me in a "happy place". I was doing window displays for a childrens store and making accessories. But the winds of change then moved our family to the midwest.

Soon I found myself drawn to auctions. I worked weekends at a local antique shop and was on an advisory panel for an antique mall out of town. Reconstructing jewelry from vintage pieces became my new passion. My designs sold in local art galleries generating private commissions as well. I've also given presentations on jewelry identification.

My new goals are to polish my silversmithing and sewing skills.
