For me photography was always connected with travel. I started taking photos in 1974 when I hitch hiked out to Oregon to hike the PCT with two friends from Doylestown, Pa.

I have lived all over the US and over seas as well for 7 years and now am living in the North Cascades of Washington state. As you can see from my images I am very fond of the Olympic Coast and North Cascades National Park/Pasayten Wilderness.

Backpacking and photography are my two main passions.

I love to take pictures, look at other peoples pictures and generally be out side. In 2001 I started with digital and LOVE it! I have a Canon 6D and a Canon 28-105 lens. I also just got Photoshop CS6.
