Lately I've started to make pictures with a technical 5x7 camera.

about sharpness

Some people asked me how my image get so sharp. First, I believe this is mainly perceived sharpness. It has to do with good lighting and proper contrast. Pixelwise there is not much difference.

Camerawise I try to take the image with the f10 diaphragm, which delivers the sharpest results (anywhere between f8 and f16, above f16 sharpness deteriorates)

I prefer to use the D700 mainly for it's dynamic range which is absolutely magnificent.
