Born in 1977 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Russia. In 2000 graduated form St. Petersburg University of Cinema and Television, specialization Digital Image Processing. Now work as a pre-press engineer, photographer and book designer combining professional work with science: at the current moment I am preparing my PhD work (theme: color reproduction technology in inkjet print). Themes of my scientific interests are color and color management in photography and press. Photography is both my profession and passion. Main themes of my photos are Orthodoxy and Orthodox life, North Russian landscape and architecture, of which Ladoga lake is of particular value. I want to show in my photos my own visions on life and place of man in Nature. I believe that modern people forgot their real role and place, they built towns where they prisoned themselves from real life and forgot about their connection with Nature
