I've worn glasses since I was three years old. Maybe that fact has focused my mind and feelings to appreciate vision and images and pictures and all the visual arts of painting, sculpture and photography. All the time, I see things I want to capture and share.

Like so many, I started taking pictures with a Brownie and moved up through my dad's Argus C35, a twin-lens reflex Yashica, my Nikkormat and other family cameras. The cost of film and the delay in seeing the image held down experimentation for many years.

Then, digital cameras. My first was an 1.3MP Olympus. It was wonderful. Finally, unlimited pictures and immediate feedback. Then I got my Nikon D70 and it was heaven.

But, I could only share them with my family and they don't understand my passion for images. You know, the weird ones that you find fascinating but they say, "Huh? Why did you photograph that? Here, take a picture of me in front of ..."

Finally, I found Flickr and it felt like I was hearing the phrase from Burning Man, "Welcome Home". I love this place and the wonderful people I have met through it.

I hope you enjoy my images. I'll be looking at yours for those that speak to my spirit as well.
