I was quite into photography some years ago, including having my own darkroom (AKA kitchen, thick curtains, and yards and yards of twine crisscrossing the room for hanging freshly-developed images). Left the hobby for years, then picked up the camera again in late 2023.
I shoot whatever catches my fancy and/or latest obsession. I rework images again and again, not always for the better. I struggle with composition and rarely ever hold my camera level. But, at the end of the day, I enjoy what I do and hope you find something of interest in my captures.
The Nopperabō (のっぺらぼう) is a Japanese yōkai that looks like a human but has no face. That's me, behind the camera. Never mind me; just go about your business. And, if you've got a minute, look through my camera eye at the images I've captured. That's the fascinating part, to me anyway.
