Non-Event was initiated in the spring of 2001 as an independent curatorial platform, created to present experimental, improvised, and electronic music to Boston audiences. Since then, Non-Event has produced more than forty-five concerts, featuring musicians and sound artists from fifteen countries. These performances have taken place at colleges, art galleries, theaters, loft spaces, rock clubs, a former water pumping station, and inside Boston City Hall.
