My formal education is in science (BS Environmental Science, Northern Arizona University), however, I work in bridging the arts and sciences into a cohesive whole. I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin: the best city of the Great Lakes. I also spend time as an artist in residence and as an intern at the Kairos Institute of Sound Healing near Taos, New Mexico -- where I have created numerous sculptures including Solar Chamber and my ongoing Labyrinth project. Additionally, I recently produced my first academic research art (political ecology, social and environmental science) permanent exhibit at the Urban Ecology Center of Milwaukee, WI Riverside Park -- titled "Urban (Re)cology". Most of my artwork reflects an environmental consciousness and zen principles, and relates to my interests in sustainable design and urban ecology. I am inspired by such artists as Andy Goldsworthy, Chris Drury, Leonardo DaVinci, and Alex Grey, and many others.
