Noise for the Needy is an annual music festival that brings artists and audiences together to raise money for a local Seattle charity.

NFTN 2012 will take place in June 1-10 all over Seattle. Proceeds from NFTN 2012 will benefit Seattle Community Law Center. The Seattle Community Law Center provides accessible legal aid and advocacy to people with disabilities and other barriers, helping them navigate federal benefit programs to obtain the resources necessary to gain financial and medical stability. Since 2004, NFTN has showcased over 300 artists and raised over $125,000 for local Seattle charities.

“I was inspired after working at a homeless kitchen in Hart Park, near my campus. Most of the students had no idea that there was this problem of homelessness right down the street; I wanted to get these students' attention, so I came up with the idea to put together a benefit concert that would draw attention to the problem of homelessness, give local bands some exposure and create a event that would draw students together." -Noise for the Needy Founder, Dave Green
