I've never had the pleasure of shooting with Alison, since she inconveniently lives half a continent away. Nonetheless, I find myself in constant envy of her for getting the shot that I keep missing. Alison can find something in a setting that most photographers would overlook, or find a way of framing it so that it takes on a new life. That is a truly unique talent which I am in complete envy of.

Alison is a gifted photographer. I envy both her skill, and her eye (just the right one though, the left is a bit amblyopic. Creeps me out.) She also shares my love of cheese, and has really cool hair

"The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera." - Dorothea Lange That being said, I think all us photographers see a lot more detail in the world around us. Alison sees even more details than any other photographer i know. The first thought that goes through my head when i see one of here new images is "I would have never seen that". Alison is a master observer, and an amzing photographer.
