Ben Collison was born in Michigan; after graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design he moved to San Francisco in October 2000. Balancing academic experience, the technical requirements of a project, and the surprises of experimentation, he is constantly evolving his technique and creating fresh work. His work emphasizes the power color gives to subject matter and embodies the energy of playful exploration. After showing in San Francisco, throughout the U.S., England, Taiwan, and curating 4 successful group exhibitions he has matured in technique and imagination as a professional artist.
