Welcome to North West England. The majority of my photographs are made in Lancashire UK. I try to capture details of society in street photos of the North.

I use primarily digital cameras being dependant on my Nikon D80 for a good few years but I then began to shoot with the Ricoh GR digital which is a fixed focal length mirrorless camera, Missy. I studied Photography at Blackburn College University Centre to Bachelors Degree Academic Level. I am interested in Street Photography and have been taking photos since around 2000 (college days) but more so from 2005 onwards, particularly since getting a Nikon in 2007. I enjoy both colour and monochrome.

Shooting on Fujifilm these days, my camera is called 'Chiana' after the sneaky alien character played by Gigi Edgley in the Sci-Fi series Farscape starring Ben Browder and Claudia Black including The Jim Henson Company's lifelike special effects. I tend not to post process photographs too much, embellishments to contrast and tones is acceptable for me.

I aspire to photograph for myself primarily but also for the purpose of community inquiry and exhibition.
