...and the world is my oyster. Hi hello! I'm a Florida based award-winning Photographer. I'm happily married and enjoy life at a slower pace. I fancy landscape & travel photography over journalism over family portraits. I do a little writing in my spare spare time over at wordpress: pixelgrin.wordpress.com/ where you can find tutorials, tips, travel stories and more.

Growing up my little sister was always behind the lens pushing the envelope of what may have been considered trendy for her time and age...I can remember looking at her photographs from when we were younger and thinking to myself that's really cool how she thought to use that particular setting to capture a moment. I mean it could have been just her and a friend goofing off posing for a self-portrait, but they would go to the extreme to capture a mood, a moment in time, in each photograph and today looking at those pictures, I can remember exactly what life was like back then... little sisters may always look up to their big sisters but years later as I look at the brilliant photographs she creates everyday...I still find myself admiring her.

When you try to draw a picture or paint something, often your results will look OK to you. When you compare your results to those of an artist it's like cresting a hill and suddenly seeing the rest of the mountain. This is what its like when I compare my own photos to those that Jennifer has taken. She is a true artist and a master at recording what is seen. She finds art in ordinary life, she finds amazing pictures in everything she does. She captures those images with a skill and flair that I have rarely seen. I have opportunities to shoot with her all the time (she is my fiancee) - and over and over and over again she blows my mind with breathtaking pictures. It doesn't seem to matter whether the subject is a landscape, people, flowers, birds, nature, seascapes, she is a very good all around photographer. She seems to make art out of thin air. It's amazing to see a true natural at work. Where I will spend hours researching and piddling, and playing with settings and setting up tripods, and waiting for the light and all that, she'll jump in and get the shot while I stand with jaws agape.
