...I bought my first DSLR in 2009 after realising that I was not taking so many photos of my family anymore. My trusty film camera died and the little point and shoot didn't last the distance either.

The Canon 40D was a huge learning curve and I started it all by switching to manual and embarking on "Project 365" which I had learnt about here on Flickr. After that year, the passion was still there.

I now have a Canon 5DII and still love this photography journey. I love shooting landscapes - it is sometimes a welcome relief after commercial, portraits and the odd wedding that I am fortunate enough to get called upon to do.
