Started film photography in 1994 with my first camera, Canon EOS 1 with the motor drive and one lens, Canon 28-80 f/2.8-4 L with the Metz 50MZ5 flash. I occasionally had access to my friend’s 80-200 f/2.8 L until I became rich enough to take it off his hands. I stopped photography when my (other) friend’s photo lab went under. Quite a few years later (about 2007), by accident, discovered a digital version of my much beloved EOS-1 film camera which re-ignited the photographer within. Since moving on to digital, I do not miss film in the slightest bit, maybe it is heresy but I love it.

I have been shooting for some time that I consider myself to be an event photographer; I do have interest in other types of photography such as macro, which I explore when the opportunity permits. Some of the ideas I get are inspired from other photographers and hope that I can reciprocate which is why I love Flickr so much. Please accept my apology for not always returning feedback, I am somewhat disorganized. I am really terrible and try to seek absolution via photography.

I suspect that I have a disorder involving the acquisition of quality lenses as I am shamelessly addicted to Canon's L series lenses. All except for two, (MP-E 65, zoom macro is about the best description for it and TS-E 90, tilt shift). Why they don’t make them into L series, I do not know why. Survived the accidental decommissioning of my two EOS 1Ds Mk. I, now after selling my soul (yet again), I managed to get a pair of Mk.IIs to console myself and by accident, one of the Mk. I was shipped back to me and still works. So I now have three full frame cameras. Oh yeah. I do admit that I have the yearning to get the 1Dx but it will be quite some time when I can afford it.

One more thing, I forgot to mention, I am still a PC user despite spending two years at school getting re-educated to Macs. Recently survived (translate: graduated) the two year Commercial Photography program at Dawson College in Montreal (technically Westmount). I tell you, I am so excited that I cannot hide it. Now looking for interesting photography projects to get involved in.
