At this point in time [Summer 2009], I'm adding only a few, and deleting some pictures... leaving only the ones I care to share with a wide audience (those images related to my dad, because of their significance and value to the "general public" and "family" and "friends" [more or less acquaintances, and a handful of real friends]) ; but, also, for now, adding the following poem --without offering any translations of it-- which I/we received from a friend; the "poet" is not known to me; I doubt very much that the anonymity of the person responsible for it would be revealed at this time... perhaps, sometime in the not-distant-future, we will know the true identity (whether we can believe that claim or not; but, that is not at all important); just like innumerable "anonymous" quotations, it has its effects, as is:

 

شنیدم در زمان خسرو پرویز

گرفتند آدمی را توی تبریز

به جرم نقض قانون اساسی

و بعض گفتمان های سیاسی

At this point in time [ beginning Spring 2008], I am taking a "break" and this may turn into a long, long stretch... so, I may or may not continue with adding any new images here. I am very glad to have done this and for having discovered this space. Thankful for all those who indulged me and supported me; for having engaged in interesting communications with me over the past many months... I appreciated it very much and am very grateful for all. --and to friends who keep me on my toes, and point out spelling errors (you know who you are --thanks very much!), and make me return to fix them, and "break" my word to stop being "active"... and forcing me to resume being active :)) [Thank you, S!]
