i like coffee, the smell of my dogs' paws, and find peace of mind getting in touch with a subject with humility. Working with film and medium format cameras are aides to achieve this, and i embrace the procedure before the „Gojira 67“ (as i call it - the label reads „Mamiya RB67“) says „click“. For more sponatneous phots of my furry friends there's a Pentacon Six, the first camera which makes me feel i don't want any other lens than the standard 80mm. Also, i am attracted the to pinhole cameras, as these are incredibly quiet, not only soundwise, but also in a visual sense.

 

Though i often fall in love with other people's b&w works, my mind does not envision b&w.

Not. At. All.

But i love colour – i almost can hear, taste, and smell it, which often leads me to intentional camera movements during long exposures. By doing this, i can concentrate on colour itself, leaving the world of sharp and clear shapes. I

 

For the future a book and several local exhibitions are planned, and the kiddo in me would love to get a lightweight Mamiya6 for hiking, and explore large format.
