My name is Leonil. just Nil for short!

 

Photography is just my hobby and one of my leisure time activities. Still exploring the possibilities of everything in the photographic world. I can express my thoughts and emotions by clicking the shutter and capturing the moment. I truly believed that whilst out shooting, rather taking the picture, you are making the picture by shooting at different perspective.

 

A digitally born hobbiest, my first camera was P&S Nikon Coolpix E42000, which is still a member of my Photographic Arsenal until now. I have little experience on film cameras but nothing on developing in a dark room. I learned my skills in digital photography from books (thanks to Scott Kilby, author of Digital Photography 1 & 2), forums and most of all by experimenting and actual experiences. To sum it up, I'm a self-taught photographer.

 

My previous and first DSLR was a Nikon D50, which taught and guided me almost all in understanding photography from exposure, shutter, ISO and so on. On December 2008, I acquired the new Nikon D90 which gives me wider understanding of different styles of photography including low lights and night shots. At present, my photographic Arsenal have various acquisitions and expected to get bigger and bigger with time.
