Drag to set position!
"Ever since he was a child he was interested in art and creativity. His tryst with photography started back in 1996 when he was in school. One day he borrowed his elder brother's camera (simple film camera of those days), and finished the roll in his neighborhood park. As a result, he got some scolding from his brother as to why did he finish the entire roll. But his brother's anger went away soon after the roll was developed, and uncle Hari (in whose studio the roll was developed) actually congratulated his brother saying the roll contains some interesting photos. Once Nilanjan saw the printed results, his world would have never been the same again. He tried few more rolls now and then, but couldn't spend much due to limited pocket money.
Later in 2003, when he started earning his own money, he bought his first digital camera (in the form of a Canon point-n-shoot). For a few years he learned and practiced the basics of all that digital photography and photoshop had to offer. He had no clue what he was missing, until the day he bought his first entry level Nikon DSLR, back in 2005. The leap was big, but it was as exiting as it could be, for he was amazed often, at his own creations, as he was learning and improving.
He now uses a Nikon professional digital SLR with various lenses and lighting kits..."
Nilanjan has a wide range of photographs in his portfolio ranging from microstock as well as modern art. He has photographed mostly in the Americas, however some of his work also origins from other parts of the world. Nilanjan primarily uses Nikon equipment for his professional photography brand.
