I have been pursuing my photography hobby for last thirteen years. Before that I used to be photography club member in college where I learned first steps of photography using pure manual Olympus OM-1 camera. In our college lab I also learned to develop and print B&W photos (back in 1995-96).

I started pursuing my hobby after I moved to Pune (or started earning) in 2000

I used to shoot with my film SLR (Canon Elan II)

To me photography is a medium of storytelling; and that story is scripted on the emotional bridge between a photographer and his subject. Millions of stories being told at every moment and I travel places or wander around on a lazy Sunday afternoon to record these stories. This gives me breathing space, connects me to strangers and Mother Nature. And that’s what exactly I try to do with my photographs, to connect and move viewer with underlying emotion – be its child’s first cry or crashing sea waves on the face of impending storm.
