I'd give an introduction and a long paragraph about who I am, what I do, where I'm from and where I'm going but I'd rather keep this short and simple.

My journey into photography actually started in 2007 when I got my first digital camera. I took a 30 day vacation from Florida to Northern Michigan and took hundreds of pictures along the way.

Over the years I continued to upgraded to slightly better cameras, leading me to where I am now. I've been working as a Freelance Portrait and Event Photographer since 2009. I don't claim to have any "style", I just photograph anything and everything.

I find inspiration in the form of early morning sunlight streaming through the mossy oaks, in the newly engaged couple holding hands, the water-droplets on a windshield, rust on an old paint can, a child's eyes, a mother's belly, the pollen on a bee's knee's.

I don't believe in 'rules' when it comes to photography. Photography is a form of art, art requires experimentation, pushing the boundaries, taking chances, doing the unconventional. Photography is a journey, not a destination. And the day I only photograph for money, rather pleasure, is the day I will give up photography.

Most of my "professional" work is shot with a Nikon D300s. I do take quick snapshots with my iPhone as well. Hopefully you'll be able to tell the difference!
