Started photography back at 2004 with my first camera, the Panasonic Lumix FZ10. It was just about being trigger-happy and capturing moments into poorly-taken photos with various compact cameras. The major turning point was in 2010 when I decided to invest in a DSLR, but ended up getting a Sony NEX-5... because I want to take my camera almost everywhere I go.
After a week of uneventful photos with the kit lenses, I decided to venture into the tiresome, yet wonderfully rewarding route of manual lenses. I've been through a few lenses, and my favourite set up is the NEX-5 with Carl Zeiss lenses from the Contax G rangefinder series.
In April 2011, I was at another turning point when my family decided to invest in a high-end compact, the Fujifilm X100. With 6 months experience with manual prime lenses, using the X100 is a breeze and also, an exciting experience.
