Photographer since 2008. Coming back to Flickr and have recently updated my account to house my entire portfolio. Have been known on here in the past as Nikki Loux Photography and NEWbyNikki. Photography has evolved for me over all the years I've been doing it. I go through phases of obsessing over it and shooting every day, to putting it on the back burner for years, to everything in between. Through it all, my focus has always been on humans. People inspire me to create an image. A place inspires me to put someone in it. Using it as a way to help someone soften into themselves a little more, or capture a special moment in their personal history. Most of what you'll see from me will be portraits of humans who trusted me enough to be seen.

Her photos always look professional and she knows how to use light to her advantage and can make anything look beautiful and stunning. Nikki Loux is a great flickr contact and photographer. All of her work is so thought out, and very beautiful. More than once, I've been in a creative dry spell and have looked at her work to get inspiration to start shooting again. Her portraits are always spot on and her post processing is flawless. Nikki has a very good understanding of light, composition, textures, movement and tones, and always seems to be able to capture a mood in the photo, whether it be uplifting, sad, broken, and what have you, but in the photography department, Nikki never fails!
