Hello people, I am Nikhil Seri, a student at Rutgers University. I am a senior and a computer science major.

Apart from computer programming, I have always been interested in photography. Two years ago, I bought my own DSLR camera (a Canon Rebel T5i with 18-135 mm lens). I have been taking a lot of pictures with it. Usually, I do not have the habit of reading manuals to understand the different settings. I try to learn them by practice. However, I've realized that there are many features that go totally unnoticed if you did that.

I have taken art classes before like theater appreciation, art appreciation, digital video online, etc., before but these were not specifically about still digital photography. I am very excited about this class and I am looking forward to learn new things. I am also enjoying the pictures that other friends have posted to the assignments.
