Redeeming features kind, generous and finds plenty of time for 9 wild bear grandchildren. Furiously engaged with his lovely wife in spending their children's inheritance.

Time has gone by, so grandchildren have grown up and rather nicely, whilst I wasn't looking. I am now much older, more enfeebled and banned from using ladders but still photographing the Cosmos, which at some time soon, I will conjoin. Good to see I remain remarkably cheerful though!

I have started writing a book about stargazing for old folks just like me and who knows whether I will finish this labour of love before I boldly go into the night for the final time? It turns out that in the end it's all about: love, entropy, playing the five string banjo, avoiding swans, eating pies, access to sheds and drinking copious amounts of light ale!.

Sadly, I have recently been suffering from gout in both big toes, so I can no longer drink any light ale and instead I am coming to terms with the occasional pint of cider.
