I'm Amanda, a front-end developer and photographer based in Minnesota. I specialize in creating beautiful, usable, professional websites using best practice accessibility and latest W3C web standards guidelines, resulting in semantic and web friendly HTML and CSS.

I intended goal was to be an animator and character designer. I even went to design school fully motivated to become just that. One thing lead to another and 2 years went by and I was a fully fledged web designer without ever planning to become one. This fortunate turn of events has lead me to work with some amazing people on some great projects.

I'm a quirky girl. I love when the inner kid takes command and I'm energized by challenges and problems. I can bring order out of chaos. I'll do whatever it takes to get the job done.

To quote the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, "Nothing is impossible, just highly improbable."

My weapons of choice are Photoshop and Illustrator for creating layouts, then Fireworks to prepare my layouts for the web, and Dreamweaver to produce clean semantic HTML and CSS. I also like to use NotePad++ or TextWrangler, depending on my system, in addtion to my Adobe software.

I have been trying my hand at iOS development. Our technology is getting smaller and I would like to be able to develop it. However, I specialize in standard-based HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and JavaScript web development.
