Thankyou to everyone who comments on my pictures; I will try to reciprocate as much as I can. Just simple comments would be lovely thanks - I prefer not to have fancy graphics and "awards" please.

Always too busy - playing guitar, listening to music, church meetings, taking photos...

I'm a Nikon guy - D800 mostly, but also have a D300 in reserve. Favourite lens for landscape is Nikkor 17-55mm F/2.8. Favourite for macro is Sigma 105mm F/2.8. Walkabout lens is a Nikkor 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6. Trouble is I can never decide which to take out with me, so I always end up dragging the whole lot around.

Post-production is largely with Adobe Lightroom 5, which is a fantastic piece of software. In fact, I hardly ever have to use the Photoshop CS suite, which is a bit of a shame because it cost a whole lot of money.

I don't really have a specialty as such - I shoot a lot of landscapes in and around Hampshire and Dorset in the UK. Also have quite a few flower shots and the odd portrait or two.

I've done a few weddings and other social events, and a little fashion work too. In 2015 I am looking to develop some skills in astrophotography (on a budget).
