Currently attending The Art Institute of Portland, I am eager to learn as much as I can about the world of photography. I am a Flickr addict and an aspiring photographer!

If it were possible, I would probably spend all day on Flickr, reading and learning as much as I could from others. But for now, I use what free time I have exploring Flickr.

When I first decided that I wanted to pursue photography, I tried to limit myself to nature photography. Trees, waterfalls, flowers...As time went by, opportunities to shoot people came my way and decided that I needed to expand my horizons and learn to shoot all aspects of life. From this, I have been hired to shoot weddings, office photos, infants, senior portraits, ect.

My primary focus is infant photography. If you are in the Portland, OR area and would like newborn photos, please Flickr mail me. I would love to capture precious moments of your new child!

I am a strong believer in natural light, though I also use Speedotrons, softboxes, Calumets, ect.

I currently have a Canon Rebel XTI and use a standard kit lens, zoom lens and my all time favorite, the 50mm fixed 1.4. CS4 Photoshop is resource for me as well, though I belive that the image should look great SOCC and photoshop should not be used as a "get you by" tool.

Though I do not have a ton of experience, as some would say, I do believe that I am a talented individual and I love to share as much as I can with as many people as possible! " Pay it Forward" as some would say!

I am also a strong believer that if someone has taken the time to leave a little note on a photo, that it is common courtesy to say thank you or leave a little note on someone elses stream. Because of this, I make a point to get to know almost anyone who leaves notes and comments on my photos. If you would like to know how I have done anything, I encourage you to ask! I love to share what little I know!!
