I am a software engineer by profession and photography is my passion.

I began shooting when I was a teenager with a 35mm Zeiss Ikon borrowed from my dad and then got my own 35mm reflexes (first a strange Miranda and then a couple of Pentax - MX and ME). In that time I made a lot of B+W films developing and printing in the bathroom.

I left my cameras for about 15 years and started again enjoying photo with the first digital cameras.

In 2005 I got a Nikon D50, then a D80, a D300s and now I shoot mainly with a Nikon D7000.

My family let me gently invade our home with all the bags, lenses, tripods, lights, flashes, screens and shields, because they know that playing with that crap I am a happy photo addict.

I have known Nico since we were co-workers, in the nineties decade. He has a nice sense of humor, and is always willing to give help if you have problems with hardware or software. I remember him taking photos in the offices, with one of the first digital cameras. After more than seven years, we met again, here on Flickr. Not only an original and skilled photographer, but also a very kind person and the best colleague you can have. Keep your captures coming, Nico!
