I spent years taking photographs as a means of collecting images that I could then use in my artwork. I have a love of painting and usually have several oils paintings in various stages of completion at any one time.

Over time I became increasingly interested in the art within photography and it now takes up more of my time than painting!! :-)

I have learnt so much since I joined Flickr and continue to learn every day. There are some amazing photographers on here who are are extremely generous with their time and their feedback. Constructive comment is definitely the way to improve! :-)
