I am a computer programmer based in the state of Washington in the US; I've had an interest in photography since I held my father's Olympus OM-1 film SLR camera some time ago while going to college for my Computer Science degree. I've not had a DSLR until the spring of 2015, when I bought the Nikon D70 and a few lenses from a friend. Since then, I've moved to the Nikon D7200 and that's been my primary camera since.

My primary photography interests are pets, (I.E., the three cats we have...), nature, and architecture.

Since I am primarily a Linux user (the workstation I do most of my picture/video stuff on is running Kubuntu), I use Darktable for RAW processing and some basic image manipulations (Light curves and cropping, for example), GIMP for more involved image manipulations (More advanced effects like adding the light-saber effects to a picture for a friend, :) ), and Kdenlive for video.

Feel free to comment and critic my pictures. I'm always interested in improving my techniques and processes.
