Local San Diego, California Photographer and Artist. My partner and I have formed a San Diego Business called Nick and Nowell Creations in which we thrive on selling top quality prints and products, made locally. We also believe in "Sharing Life Through Art."

I'm a freelance event and wedding photographer. I also take landscape and abstract art pictures. Newer to the landscape.

I've always had a fascination with photography, but didn't have the courage to pick it up till I finally saw my local community college offered a black and white art photography class. After going out and shooting with my newly purchased Nikon FE film camera, I fell deeply in love with photography. Soon after that I bought my first digital SLR, a Nikon D80, and been shooting since.

Nowadays I shoot with a Nikon D300, and since first taking that film class I've done weddings, events, and briefly worked for a local magazine for club shots. I also sell my photographs as prints for those who are interested.

I still enjoy taking photography classes to make sure I keep up with my skills, and to make sure I'm constantly learning. There's an old saying that once you've learned all that there is to know, you might as well be dead. I believe that for sure.

I want to share the love of photography with other people by showing how to get started, and by reviewing products and software.
