Grrr! Like most people I hate the "new and improved" view that flickr have imposed on us. And now they've removed contact levels too... So glad that I tend to browse streams with my own little browser built using the flickr API. It started life as a little experiment to see how the API worked. at least I still get contact settings and photo details :-) If you want to try it it's on flickr.nplawes.com/ (Please let me know if you find any bugs, I will try to fix them...)

My gear is currently Canon. It's not that I dislike other brands, I just chose it early on, and have too much invested in it (lenses and accessories) to swap now. I use several DSLR/Mirrorless mainly EOS-R, 5D Mark III, 1Ds Mark III and 1D Mark III as well as the occasional shot using a G11 compact and iPhone.

I use a number of computers, all Unix based... Mac, Linux and Solaris. Photo processing done mostly in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC.

My preference is for taking photos of wildlife and nature, although I do some studio work occasionally.

I enjoy viewing photos on most subjects which is why flickr is so compelling - you get an insight into other peoples passions and lives.

Please do not invite my photos into private groups without inviting me to the group too. I am unlikely to add them blindly to groups I cannot see.
