I'm a keen snapper but have had a bit of a break due to work and other distractions over the recent past: I haven't taken many pictures with my D90 for far too long!! I have a baby camera too: a GoPro Hero2, something to capture some motircycling along fine roads in New Zealand as well as a few cool other things including time-lapse which is a bit of a chore otherwise and underwater photography. Alas it's refusing to work and I need to figure out how to get it operational again!

My D80 was lifted from a bag in April 2010 but now have a D90 upon which to continue learning with the newer AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6 G II ED VR lens which was also replaced.

I'm a bit of a hippy biker chick who likes outdoor activities (including running, snowsports and cycling), music and watching American Football and motorcycle racing. My 1968 Beetle requires TLC to get back on the road ... Having been fleeced but "released" (in 2018-19) by my partner of about 20 years (who may appear in some pictures) I am forging a life anew. We shared many wonderful times, though her undiscovered dishonesty and underhand acts have tainted life to some degree, making financial security a bigger challenge. Still, it's part of the Learning Experience that is Life and I'm very pleased with my current freedoms!

In September 2007 I managed to fail to outwit an adult Roe deer just about here on my way to work on the bike around sunrise on the morning of Friday 7th September 2007, breaking, on the left: clavicle (very musical), scapula and 6 ribs; and on the right: wrist. External injuries were limited to a blood blister at my left elbow thanks to good quality leathers, sadly cut from me by the paramedics at the scene.

In the following 2 years I participated in the London to Brighton cycle ride - something I had wanted to do for many, many years, and a milestone in my rehabilitation as well as in the Sectra dragon boat on Willen Lake in Milton Keynes ...

Initially my uploaded images are unadulterated; I should (and will, honest) fiddle with them, leaving the best ones (IMHO) and processing them to enhance any "niceness" I think I can see in them. %-]
