I’ve always enjoyed taking photos and I love that I can share them here on Flickr. In the past I took lots of self portraits and had lots of fun expressing myself in that manner. But that was when I was a student and had a lot more time on my hands. Now that I’ve joined the grown up world of forty hour working weeks I don’t have the time to do many now. Over the last couple of years I have turned most of my photographic attention to food and travel photography so my stream will feature these more than my person.
If cameras didn’t exist – were never invented – I think I would go mad.

Thought it about time I put something here about this amazingly talented young lady I only know Nic from being here on flickr, but I have enjoyed her photos from day one. You never know what you're going to find in her photostream, so everyday I look forward to seeing what her great 'eagle eye' has captured on camera for the day. No matter what mood I'm in, there are always photos to bring a smile, gasp of amazement or simply to touch ones heart. But whatever it is, seeing it will make your day that little bit better. You can see that her camera and her creativity is very important to her just by looking through her pictures! Yes! Nic is one wonderful young lady, full of inspiration and she is always finding ways to take photos of every day things and making them interesting and beautiful. She sees the beauty in things others would walk past or tread on. I would say that Nic herself is just like her photography - full of curiosity, fun, generosity and full of life. She call's a spade a spade and I admire her for that. She is truly a person you would enjoy having as a friend.
