As you can see from my photostream my main photographic interests are travel, landscape and natural history (and rock gigs).

I currently use a nice lightweight Panasonic DMC G Compact System Camera:

I'm using my camera phone more and more now that I have a decent one, the excellent Samsung S22. Fantastic for street photography on holiday, general snaps and gigs. However, anything over about 3x zoom isn't great.

Older shots were taken on a Nikon D300 (a superb camera with pin-sharp, super-fast autofocus - but rather heavy to carry about), a Nikon D50 (my first digital camera) and pre-2006 photos are mostly scanned slides taken on a Nikon FE2 and Nikon FG (mainly on Fuji Sensia 200).

I used to use a Canon SX270 compact camera for gigs and underwater shots (with an underwater housing).
