Hussein's photos always make me smile. I first noticed his bird photos - for so long, I didn't realise that he was getting such high quality photos with a point and shoot! I don't know how he manages to capture them so beautifully without scaring them off! Living in Malaysia, he has the opportunity to shoot some gorgeous birds, and I'm so glad he shares it with us! Then he started his 365 Toy project, and his creativity never ceases to amaze me. My favourite are his copycat shots with lego - they are such wonderful replications - so well composed and so well shot. They are a beautiful tribute to the shots that he replicates. His toy photos always tell a story - and one that's always worth taking the time to listen to. I'm privileged to call Hussein a friend - and he's also a great Flickr friend.
