I am new to photography and I really enjoy it. My husband chose the Canon Rebel XSi as my first "real" camera and the one that I brought on my two week China tour in 2008. I'm still learning about the basics of photography and it will all sink in at some point. Until then, I will take the best pictures that I can and enjoy the beautiful pictures that so many flickr folks share.

I LOVE pandas!

I'm a volunteer interpreter at Zoo New England and love it. Since I volunteer every week, I have a good chance of getting some new pictures of the animals each week. My favorites are the big cats (as you can probably tell).

I joined flickr in March 09 after a friend invited me to join an animal-loving group that she is in. Every day I see so many wonderful photos. I am so thrilled to see that there are so many of us, all over the world, who share a love for mother nature, all of her creatures and the world around us.
