The National Guard Marathon Team encompasses the 40 fastest men and 15 fastest women marathoners in the Army National Guard and Air National Guard. Soldiers and Airmen compete for the team each May during the Lincoln National Guard Marathon, and then represent the National Guard in a Recruiting and Retention capacity at races throughout the country.
