About me : Enthusiastic nature explorer, caretaker of many gardens, lover of all green things and all beings..I am retired and a full time caregiver, I can be found when I get time off enjoying photography, it is my lifeline! I love hiking, and walking..hunting for the perfect view. I take pictures of what I see, anything from historical buildings to graffiti, to flowers and trees and more

Ngawang Chodron is my Tibetan name which I received from HE Luding Khen Rinpoche.

This name is the same one as the esteemed photographer Marilyn Silverstone, one of the founders of Magnum. She was an amazing woman, This quotation comes from her:

"A photograph is a subjective impression. It is what the photographer sees. No matter how hard we try to get into the skin, into the feeling of the subject or situation, however much we empathize, it is still what we see that comes out in the images, it is our reaction to the subject and in the end, the whole corpus of our work becomes a portrait of ourselves."

I am very honoured and extremely happy to have the opportunity to share my photos with more people, especially the botanical ones.
