I'm a twentyish something photojournalist for CBS in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Yeah, I'm local news.

Not quite as glamorous as the networks but twice as fulfilling.

I've never considered myself to be the "creative" type. I'm the only one I know who flunked art (how the hell do flunk art?!?) and low and behold, here I am on the business end of a 25lb camera.

For those of you who aren't in the 'biz, we're a strange breed. Part masochist, part adrenaline junkie. We go places and do things most people would never experience, and we do it every day. Hurricanes, wildfires, police chases, search and rescue, sporting events, and that's just a fraction. Perfect for someone with ADD.

So here I am, doing what I love, taking pictures, just this time, I'm taking 30 a second.
