In short, we are a group of Christian people committed to providing a three year, residential and training opportunity in a Christian environment, to young men of Jamaica .

Our History:

The late Rev. Cedric Lue, founder of the Sun Beam Boys Home over 30 odd years ago, and previous pastor of Glad Tidings Open Bible Church, had a vision to build a home where young men leaving orphanages and Juvenile Penal Institutions, having no home or means of subsistence could be accommodated, trained, their spiritual needs addressed and then,

re-integrated into society as useful, law abiding citizens.

It was out of this vision that New Horizon Christian Outreach Ministries was born. The vision of this ministry is to provide a training facility for young men leaving orphanages and Juvenile Penal Institutions in Jamaica in a three year, Christian orientated residential programme equipping them with the requisite skills to be valuable citizens of our society.
