2009 Resolution - Still learn to play the piano and become a better photographer. I've been taking piano lessons since November 2006 ...and totally look forward to my practice time.

I like having choices, opportunities and the freedom to pursue my interest.....definitely! My life seems hectic …so a simpler life appeals to me ...like owning a bakery or painting as an artist. However, the hours would suck owning a bakery....and I unfortunately lack the true talent to be a good artist. Okay, so it’s more of a joke (not a dream) than a real alternative for me!

I like being around people with positive “Can Do Attitudes” who bring their own energy to the party. I feel we’re all responsible for our own happiness, and being happy is a simple choice”. I think its great when people are proud of who they are and are not afraid to be truly themselves. Being appreciative, understanding and respectful to others is such a cool thing for people to do and I think it’s what enables people to really connect.

I also believe that you mostly only get what you ask for in life not what you deserve (unfortunately).

A few things that really resonate with me are...

1) Life is 10% of what's given to you and 90% of what you make of it !

2) A situation is no more responsible for your attitude than a mirror is for your looks !

3) Dreams come true by working on them, not wishing for them!

I like silly, crazy, playful people; I like feeling special and think one can never have too many friends.
