I don't like writing these things, but I felt that my profile needed a slight update. I'm on Flickr to showcase my photos and to admire the art that is created by other Flickr users. I love photography but I know I've still got a lot to learn, and any comments and feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I could go on and on about Jamie's talent for photography, but you only have to take a look at his stream to see how much talent, skill and love for the art that he has. His pictures are coloured by the emotion and life behind them. He also rocks my world in general. We clean de yuckiez?

I've written my fair share of testimonials, and I have looked through my fair share of photo streams here on Flickr, but it's rare that I find someone who truly appreciates photography, who strives to capture not only the image in front of him, but the emotion behind it. Anyone can take a camera and click off a bunch of snapshots, and those do have their place, but photography is so much more than random snapshots and fluff, it's an art form, a truly human art form, and River / Jamie / NevadaSky is truly an expert with his art. He catalogs his life very well in his photographic works, you see more than a photo, you see a person, a life, and that's very cool to me. Do yourself a favor, look through his stream, you won't be disappointed. Keep up the good work man, you rock.
