-Frederick H. Varley, A.R.C.A. Canada's Group of Seven, (1881-1969)

NetReacher Image Studios consists of James Vincent Wardhaugh (JVW) on location in Northern Ontario Canada, some 250kms or 150 miles south of James Bay (as the crow flys);

James has been involved in the fine arts field most of his life having worked with his father, American born, Edwin Lawrence Wardhaugh who was a Master Sign Painter, draftsman, restorative & commercial artist for 55 yrs. on silkscreen process, (photographic & profilm), goldleaf application & restorative frescoes while in his employ in the Quinte Region of SE Ontario.

Having two years of special art instruction, James was artistically influenced earlier in life by studying under, Philippa Mary Burrows-Faulkner, RCA (The Royal Canadian Academy of Arts), OSA (Ontario Society of Artists), CSPWC (Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour), who was tutored by Frederick Horsman Varley, one of Canada's Group of Seven, and Ontario's Carl Fellman Schaefer (Guggenheim Fellowship) while she was at the Doon School of Fine Arts in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Mrs. Faulkner was a graduate of Parsons School of Design, in New York City as well as obtaining a Master of Fine Arts degree at Instituto Allende in San Miguel, Mexico.

James later attended high-school in Chicagoland, where he continued to study Graphic Arts, including darkroom & black & white photography and had the unique opportunity to work on a class project overseen by the late-great William "Bill" Walker, a notable muralist in Chicago. Walker was one of the founders of the Organization of Black American Culture, a leader in the project involving the Wall of Respect and was also one of the critical founders of the mural movements in Chicago during the 1960s.

Jame's work has been commissioned/used on a few environmental conscience websites & publications including the Dr. David Suzuki Foundation.

His mission statement is simply striving to bring the viewer intimately to a wide range of subjects with on location imagery of wildlife close to their natural habitat as possible, as well as people, and places.
