I am an inspired amatuer photographer that enjoys the natural beauty of landscapes, nature and wildlife. Since getting my Canon Digital Rebel XT in March 2006 (and upgrading to a 30D this May and replaced with a 40D - having had the 30D stolen) I have enjoyed getting out to take many pictures - some of the more memorable on an Inside Passage Alaska Cruise in June ('06) on the Dawn Princess.
As I continue to learn the camera - composition, lighting, depth of field - I find that like in all other matters of life - the more I learn the more I learn I don't know.
If you landed here and enjoy any of the images I have to share - please leave a comment or note.

During this time I have come to admire his intelligence, common sense, and artistic vision. His passion for the art is obvious and the body of his work exudes vision and creativity. Whether viewing his images of people and the human condition in the urban environment or bison in Yellow Stone, you can't help but share in the emotion of the moment.

What? No one has written about this contrast in shadow and sunlight? No one has written about the keen reflection and thoughtful context within which he creates his art? Impossible! How can one not be drawn in by the energy that blasts out in ways even he doesn't comprehend? Ok then, let me be the first. Let me say that the heart and eye and soul and reflection is is how he connects to the outside while preserving the inside. Let me say that one glimpse into the hidden spaces is enough to know his reflections through the world. Let me say seeing his images and reading his words is to know a fascinating contradiction. Let me say that it is a privelege to view the world through those eyes. More importantly, to view the world through the heart and soul integrated into our reality. Let me say that!
