Don't know much about photography, read a book about it, and took a short course in black and white photography at Sunderland University's school of art and design. Enjoyed that quite a bit and still miss my dark room.

I have one little camera, a Canon Ixus 950 IS which i like very much. Lately I've been using my mobile phone a lot. It doesn't seem to irritate people so much as having a camera stuck in their face and I feel more comfortable taking pictures that way.

I think its important to have an idea of the number of interesting pictures I should take. With my mobile phone in markets, shopping centres and events, I take far more photos I like than with a camera.
