What can I say? - I love to take pictures. Ever since I picked up my first digital camera I've been hooked. I love trying to take pics of almost anything, and like many of you, am constantly scanning my surroundings for objects and angles that would make for the perfect shot (I'll let you know if I ever find it).

I'm a mild mannered high school teacher during most of the year. This year will be my 8th year teaching a high school photography course and I'm using a flickr group to provide the arena for us to converse and share class photos, so be uber-nice to any of my students if you run across them! This has also necessitated the name change - just in case anyone was wondering where Nerdvin went!
