I am a theater major concentrating in Lighting and Sound Design at IUSB. I got my start in photography in highschool when my brother bought the family a Canon A300 point and shoot which I pretty much carried everywhere until I accidentally dropped it in a lake while canoeing.

I started really getting serious about photography about a year ago when my awesome brother got me Canon S5 IS (it is a seriously versatile camera that does a LOT of things pretty well). In April I started building my current photography system when I bought a Canon Digital Rebel XSi and a Canon 50mm 1.8. Since then, my brother bought me a Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 zoom (this lens has a hell of a lot of performance considering that it is a fraction of the price of the Canon 24-70mm 2.8). I also bought a Canon EOS 1n film body for messing around with film and for when I eventually take the photography class at my university.
