What draws me to photography is its "interdisciplinary" nature: I believe that all good photography is, necessarily, some combination of science and art, and that most interesting photography throws in a measure of social commentary as well. I believe equipment plays a nontrivial part in the photographic process; personally I prefer technology that was designed to stand the test of time, with minimal consumerist goals in mind. At the moment, for me, this means working in analog with 35mm cameras and lenses from the 1950s–1970s (the Minolta line built around the SR mount being my favourite). But you'll find shots here that originated in digital, too – sometimes the convenience of the digital format outweighs the excitement that comes from tinkering with chemistry.
